私たちが「MAVERICK」というハイブリッド型IEMを2014年に開発した最大の目的は、当時のハイブリッド型イヤホンに対して多くの人が抱いていた「認識」、それを上書き出来るような、一聴してハイブリッド型イヤホンだと感じさせないような、IEM界で新基軸となり得るIEMを誕生させることが目的でした。
この新しい「Maverick II」には、2年前の私たちには技術的にも、経験的にも不可能であった、2年後の私達だから成し得た「新しい答え」を与えました。
一般的なハイブリッド型イヤホンは、低域向けに「ダイナミック型ドライバー」を搭載し、中高域向けに「バランスド・アーマチュア型ドライバー」を搭載させ、それぞれの異なるドライバーが持つ良いところを併せ持った型で設計されています。しかしこの「Maverick II」には他にはない特徴として、低域の再現を「ダイナミック型ドライバーだけ」に託すのでなく、バランスド・アーマチュア型ドライバーを足すことで、ダイナミック型ドライバーだけでは再現しきれなかった、音色、スピード感などを独自に表現し、唯一無二のサウンドを作り出しています。
この「Maverick II」は、初代「MAVERICK」と比較し、ダイナミック型ドライバーと中域向けに採用しているバランスド・アーマチュア型ドライバーを異なるドライバーに変えています。そして「Maverick+」とは異なるダイナミック型ドライバーを搭載させた事で、よりタイトでスピード感のあるサウンドに仕上げました。

Maverick" means "heretic" or "lone wolf
Our main goal in developing the Maverick hybrid IEM in 2014 was to create an IEM that would override the perception that many people had of hybrid earphones at the time, and that would become a new standard in the IEM world. The goal was to create an IEM that could become a new benchmark in the IEM world, one that could override the "perception" held by many people of hybrid earphones.
The new "Maverick II" has given us a new answer that was technically and empirically impossible for us two years ago, but only possible for us two years later.
Typical hybrid earphones are designed with a dynamic driver for the low frequency range and a balanced armature driver for the mid and high frequency range, combining the best features of each type of driver. However, Maverick II is unique in that it does not rely solely on a dynamic driver to reproduce the low frequency range, but also adds a balanced armature type driver, which uniquely expresses the tone, speed, and other characteristics that could not be reproduced with a dynamic driver alone, This creates a unique sound.
Compared to the original "Maverick", the "Maverick II" uses a different dynamic driver and a balanced-armature driver for the mid-range. And by having a different dynamic-type driver than the "Maverick+", it has a tighter and faster sound.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
