For customers residing in Japan
The 2015 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue—from the inaugural year of the True Historic series, hailed as the ultimate reissue—has arrived in stock!
By setting an annual production limit, the True Historic series underwent a major overhaul of its manufacturing process, pursuing an unprecedented level of Custom Shop quality—including the grade of body materials.

The body top features a Double-Carved Top, which undergoes two carving processes; the second involves precise CNC carving based on 3D scan data obtained from existing vintage Les Pauls. Similarly, this meticulously crafted reissue incorporates numerous updates, including the neck shape, hand-applied rolled binding, and revisions to the finish and veneer thickness.Furthermore, the True Historic parts newly adopted here are also used in today’s Custom Shop, a testament to the instrument’s high level of craftsmanship.

The model we’ve received this time features a striking top with a thick, powerful grain that beautifully showcases the classic Vintage Cherry Sunburst finish. The body top, back, and neck joint are glued with hide glue, just like vintage models.
It is equipped with Custom Buckers, pickups that offer excellent touch response, delivering a vintage-style sound and a satisfying playing feel.
Since the mahogany is stained with aniline dye, a reddish tint has seeped into the binding; however, this is a common occurrence with this manufacturing process.

As for the condition, there are minor scratches, dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts, but there is no major damage. Since it has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled, nut, and saddle adjusted upon arrival, it is ready to play without any issues.

Even though production has ceased, the True Historic is still considered the ultimate reissue—please consider adding this to your collection.
