USED YAMAHA / SA700 PR Persimmon Red [06]

We’ve just received the SA-700, a model that joined the lineup in 1982 as part of Yamaha’s popular “SA” series of semi-hollow-body guitars, which has been in production from the 1970s to the present.

It features a body made of maple and beech, an alder center block, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
Its appeal lies in its easy-to-use sound—typical of Yamaha—that blends seamlessly into any song.

There are noticeable playing scratches on the pickguard, as well as dents, scratches, and a chip on the tip of the headstock across the entire body; there are also paint cracks around the jack and endpin. This instrument shows significant signs of use, including discoloration of the binding and a cloudy finish on the neck.
The front volume pot is stiffer than the other pots.
Since its arrival, it has undergone a full cleaning, as well as replacement of the toggle switch, cleaning of the pots, replacement of the strap pins, and fret leveling.
Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is in good working condition for normal use
