THE JIMI HENDRIX STRATOCASTER

Fender Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster.
“Even if the sun refuses to shine, or the mountains fall into the sea, it doesn’t matter to me. Even if 6 becomes 9, it doesn’t matter—I’ll live in my own world, and I won’t kowtow to you.”

Looking back at the models Fender has released to pay tribute to Jimi Hendrix, it all began with the JH PROTO—a Stratocaster made around 1980 featuring the distinctive elbow contour on the body top.Furthermore, in 1997, a series of models that can be considered milestones in guitar history—such as the Jimi Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster, the Voodoo Stratocaster, and the Monterey Pop Festival Stratocaster—were released one after another. Even in the 2000s, his legacy served as the inspiration for the release of the 1969 Stratocaster (with a maple veneer fingerboard), a long-selling model in the Time Machine Series.

The new Jimi Hendrix model being introduced this time is crafted at the Fender Ensenada Factory in Baja California. Symbolizing his habit of converting right-handed guitars to left-handed specifications, the model features a reverse-style large headstock. It creates a sense of tension that enables both tight bass response and emotional playing of the high notes, and above all, its appearance exudes a fiery rock vibe.

The bridge pickup, which is reverse-slanted like the headstock, delivers an edgy, aggressive sound. It contributes greatly to the aggressive tone that is the very essence of Jimi’s style. With its versatile specifications—a slightly flat 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets—and equipped with American Vintage ’65 single-coil pickups with gray bobbins, it offers a delicate tone as smooth as a singing voice. His signature is engraved on the back of the headstock, and his iconic bust is etched onto the neck plate, serving as a sort of good-luck charm.
Although there are minor scratches, scuffs on the pickguard, and some tarnish on the bridge parts, it shows very little wear and is in excellent cosmetic condition for a used instrument.
It has been adjusted and cleaned at our repair center and is in perfect playing condition.

THE JIMI HENDRIX STRATOCASTER
