Acoustic Design
A clear and powerful sounding body design was achieved through measurement, analysis, and modeling using "Acoustic Design," a design process that utilizes Yamaha's unique acoustic analysis and 3D modeling.

Chamber Processing
All models employ chamber processing based on "Acoustic Design. This process improves the sound, reduces weight, and optimizes the weight balance.

Choice of Sound
RevstarProfessional and Standard models are available with humbuckers as well as P-90 type models.
You can choose your favorite pickup from a powerful custom-wound humbucker with an Alnico V on it or a fine-grained single coil P90 type.

5-position selector
The Revstar Professional and Standard feature a 5-position selector. Positions 2 and 4 on the selector allow you to get the halftone sound of a regular 3 single-coil guitar without losing volume.

Push/Pull type tone knob
All models feature a push/pull tone knob for a wide range of sound creation.　The RevstarProfessional and Standard have a focus switch that enhances the midrange using a small, battery-free power transformer.
The RevstarElement has a dry switch that cuts low frequencies for a brighter sound.
