SAITO GUITARS is a brand with a workshop in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and has been growing rapidly over the past few years, with its first solid model "S Series" introduced in 2015 exceeding 1,000 units shipped in 3 years, and a dramatic increase in the number of users both in Japan and overseas.

S-622CST is a Classic Style model that follows the orthodox TL type. The standard design of this model is the best in the lineup, and it is easy to compare with other brands.

The scale length is 648mm long scale like Fender's, the fingerboard R is a modern 10-12 inch compound specification, and the frets are made of Jescar nickel silver.

The two-piece alder body is covered in a fashionable yellow "Mustard" color, which has a soothing butterscotch blonde feel at first glance. The joint plate is made of the original aluminum 5mm.

The joint plate is made of original 5mm-thick aluminum, and a bolt joint with a nut embedded in the neck side is used for the joint screw, instead of the usual wood screws.

The hard maple neck and fingerboard are made of maple as well, and the distinctive design of the fingerboard edge extending into the head on the first string side is intended to prevent head torsion that may occur after years of use.

The neck shape has a slightly thicker grip with a firm and comfortable feel, but with a pleasant finish and joints, it boasts high playability with an exquisite feel, from low-fretted chord playing to high-fretted technical playing.

Hardware is entirely made by Gotoh. Cruson-type trim-lock pegs and a custom bridge with more screw points to prevent feedback support pitch performance and stress-free playing.

The pickups are Stax set. The sound is impressive first of all for its "sharpness" and "quick startup. The "speed" directly connected to the high-precision manufacturing, which is a characteristic of Saito Guitars, stimulates the senses.

What is particularly striking is the clarity when the front PU is used. While the sound is crystal clear without any cageiness or stagnation, the unpleasant glare that pierces the ears is suppressed, and the very easy-to-hear tone is refreshing and comfortable.
