This is a Fender USA American Vintage 62 Jazz Bass, made in 2004.

Fender American Vintage was produced with the concept of faithfully reproducing the specifications of each era. 62 Jazz Bass with Alder body, Maple neck, and slabbed rosewood fingerboard. The controls are 3-knob type (2Vol/Tone), 864mm (34") scale/184mm (7.25") R/38.52mm nut, reverse winding pegs, vintage type bridge saddle, and other vintage specs are inherited in every detail.

The sound is exactly the same as that of the famous Fender instruments of the past. Recommended for bassists who are looking for a vintage sound.

Nut has been replaced, finger rest on the 1st string side is missing, overall looks like it has been used in a dignified manner (paint peeling at the waist of the 6th string side has been over-lacquered, dents/chips on the outer body, paint peeling around the joint plate/chips on the wood, gouges on the fingerboard from the 15th fret to the high position due to picking, paint on the back of the neck is peeling/blackened, paint on the back of the neck is peeling/blackened). Paint peeling and darkening on the back of the neck, guitar hanger marks on the side of the head, scratches, play marks, picking marks, metal parts and screws are cloudy, bits, rust, etc.).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and rubbing) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60°, and its operation has been confirmed (with little remaining tightness).

各年代の仕様を忠実に再現することをコンセプトに生産されていた、Fender American Vintage。こちらはアルダーボディ、メイプルネックにスラブ貼りローズウッド指板の62年仕様のジャズベースです。コントロールは2Vol/Toneの3ノブタイプ。864mm (34")スケール/184mm (7.25")R/38.52mmナット、逆巻ペグやヴィンテージタイプブリッジサドル等、細部までヴィンテージ仕様を継承しています。

本家Fenderならではの再現度で、まさに往年の名器のサウンドそのまま。ヴィンテージサウンドをお求めのベーシストにオススメの1本です。

ナット交換、1弦側フィンガーレストは欠品、全体的に風格ある使用感(6弦側ウエスト部塗装剥がれをオーバーラッカー、ボディ外周に打痕・塗装チップ、ジョイントプレート周り塗装剥がれ/木部欠け、ピッキングによる15フレットよりハイポジション指板のえぐれ、ネック裏塗装剥がれ・黒ずみ、ヘッド脇ギターハンガー痕、スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ・サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・すり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済み(締め残り少なめ)です。
