Taylor's Eleaco Academy Series Academy 12e, made in 2020.

The Academy series was conceived and developed by master builder Andy Powers as "the ideal guitar for beginners to keep playing without giving up. It is a grand concert shape with a slightly thinner body and slightly more compact impression, with a non-cutaway design, solid Sitka spruce on the top, layered sapele on the SIDE and BACK, armrest on the BODY, and a NECK with a nut width of just under 43mm to help make it comfortable to play. The NECK with a nut width of just under 43mm also helps you play comfortably.

This electric acoustic guitar is equipped with the ES-B pickup system, has a convenient tuner function, volume/tone control, and is clear and loud enough. This model is ideal for fingerpicking, and even though it was made for beginners, the Taylor sound is still present.

It shows some signs of use (scuffs, playing scratches, picking marks, fogging/bitzing of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be adjusted to +/- 60 degrees.

マスタービルダーのAndy Powers氏が「初心者が諦めずに弾き続けられる理想のギター」として考案・開発されたAcademy シリーズ。胴厚が僅かに薄くややコンパクトになった印象のグランドコンサートSHAPEで、ノンカッタウェイ仕様、TOPにソリッドシトカ・スプルースを、SIDE/BACKにレイヤード・サペリ、BODYにはアームレストを施し、ナット幅43mm弱のNECKも快適な演奏を手助けしてくれます。

ES-Bピックアップシステム搭載で、便利なチューナー機能を装備し、Volume/Toneコントロール可能なエレクトリック・アコースティックギター、クリアで音量も充分。フィンガーピッキングに最適なモデルで、初心者の方向けに製作されたとはいえ、テイラーサウンドは健在です。

若干の使用感(スレや弾きキズ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
