A used 2014 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Explorer Mahogany Elbow Cut VOS Natural is in stock!

This Explorer features a mahogany body with a bold cut on the elbow side of the body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.
This guitar was inspired by the guitar used by the world-famous guitarist during his first visit to Japan in 1974. The elbow-cutting process has reduced the overall weight of the guitar, making it a lightweight unit weighing 3.32 kg.
The neck shape is similar to the "Authentic Chunky C-Shape," which has a thicker and more comfortable grip, and is equipped with Grover rotomatic tuners.
The sound is thick and tight, with a thick mahogany neck and elbow cut, and the midrange is tenacious, and the clean is clear and warm. It is also clear and warm sounding clean.

There are some signs of use such as scratches on the buckle and dents on the sides, and one screw on the pickguard is missing, but there are no problems in playing.
After receiving the guitar, it has been checked and adjusted (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and alignment) by a professional repair person, so you can use this guitar with confidence.

ボディのエルボー側が大胆にカットされたマホガニーボディに、マホガニーネック/ローズウッド指板を採用したエクスプローラーです。
世界的有名ギタリストが1974年に初来日した際、使用していたギターからインスピレーションを受けて製作されております。エルボーカット加工によって全体の重量も減っており本機は3.32kgで軽量な個体です。
ネックシェイプは太く握りごたえのある「Authentic Chunky C-Shape」に近いシェイプを採用し、Grover製のロトマチックタイプのチューナーを搭載。
ピックアップは「Custombacker Alnico III」を２基、コンデンサーはバンブルビー・レプリカを搭載しており、サウンドはマホガニー材と太めのネックやエルボーカットと相まって太く、タイトで中音域の粘り強さも感じられ、クリーンも明瞭で温かみのあるサウンドが魅力です。

バックル傷やサイドに打痕等の使用感、ピックガードのネジが1箇所欠品しておりますが、演奏上問題ございません。
入荷後に専門のリペア担当にてチェック･全体調整(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・すり合わせ)を行っておりますので安心して使っていただける1本です。
