The Istanbul K cymbals were made at the Ziljan factory in Turkey from 1967-77.
These cymbals are from the so-called "new stamp" period.
This is a newer generation of Old K cymbals, so there are many highly finished and refined pieces from this generation.

The bottom is marked "HEAVY" and is slightly thicker.
The top weighs 1064g and the bottom 1106g. It is not thick, but the pitch is a little high and the sound has a core, and although it is 15 inches long, it is not dull, sensitive, and responsive.
There is a very slight difference in size between the top and bottom, but there is no problem with engagement.

The overtones are rich and full, and the sound is majestic, matching well with rides of 22" or larger in diameter.

Although there are some fingerprints and minor rusting, overall the cymbal is more than clean and good, with no noticeable deformation, good for an old cymbal.
This old K is still in good condition and can be used with confidence.
* The center hole is only about 11.5mm, so it may not be able to be attached to some stands.

1967-77年にトルコのジルジャン工場で製作されたイスタンブールKの
いわゆる「ニュースタンプ」に当たる時期のシンバルです。
オールドKの中でも新しい世代の為、非常に完成度の高い洗練された個体も多い世代です。

薄っすらとボトムにHEAVYの表記があり、若干厚みがあります。
トップが1064g、ボトムが1106gで、決してぶ厚くはありませんが、若干ピッチ高め、サウンドに芯がありつつ15インチですが鈍重さも無く、センシティブでレスポンス良好。
上下でごくわずかにサイズの差がありますが、かみ合わせも問題ありません。

倍音は豊かでリッチなサウンド、22インチ以上の大口径のライドにも良くマッチする荘厳さのある響きです。

多少の指紋によるくすみ、小錆びは有るものの、全体としては十二分綺麗で良好、目立った変形も無くオールドシンバルとしては良好。
まだまだ十分安心してお使いいただけるコンディションのオールドKです。
* センターホールが11.5mm程度しかないので、スタンドによっては装着できない場合もあります。
