USED Gibson USA / Explorer 76 Ebony Gibson Electric Guitar Explorer [3.60kg / made in 2005]

This is a 2005 Gibson Explorer 76, a Gibson Explorer 76 that has been in production since the Futura's release in 1958, through its re-release in 1975, and still divides the popularity of variant guitars in two with the Gibson Flying V.

It has a mahogany body, banana-headed mahogany neck, rose fingerboard, Grover mini pegs, 496R & 500T PU, and 2Vol/1Tone specs.

It features a thick and wild tone, an exquisite combination of 496R & 500T, which are renowned for their powerful ceramic magnets, and a powerful rock sound with a good punch.

The guitar shows signs of use (weather cracks overall, color burn, dents/paint peeling around the body, paint bumps on the head veneer, paint bumps on the fingerboard at the side of the neck, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, buckle marks, cloudy/pitted/rusty metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages).

The truss rod wrench was not inserted at the time of arrival, so the paint has been removed/set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment), the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be adjusted to ±60° in both tightening and loosening directions. The truss rod is adjustable for tightening and loosening, and its movement has been checked to ±60 degrees.
