The Musicman StingRay StingRay SR-4 is synonymous with active basses.

It has a 6-point maple neck, maple fingerboard, and black pickguard with humbucker PU and 3-band equalizer.

This flagship model of Music Man boasts impressive looks and a core, fat sound that can be used not only for slap playing, but also for a variety of sound variations with the 3-band EQ, making it an easy-to-use instrument.

Overall, the guitar shows signs of use (paint peeling/cracks at the joints and cutaway, dents and paint chips around the perimeter of the body, scuffs and scratches from playing, darkening around the back of the neck and fingerboard, picking marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is slightly low but still high enough to play well.

印象的なルックス、芯のある野太いサウンドはスラップ奏法のみならず、3バンドEQによる多彩なサウンドバリエーションを誇るミュージックマンのフラッグシップ・モデル、使い勝手の良い一本です。

全体的に使用感(ジョイント部やカッタウェイ部に塗装剥離/塗装クラック、ボディ外周に打痕や塗装チップ、スレや弾きキズ、ネック裏や指板周りの黒ずみ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ・サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山はすり合わせにより若干低めながら演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
