USED Ibanez / JEM7V WH Steve Vai Signature Ebony Fingerboard [3.53kg / 1993]

First year model, early type, made in 1993. Made in Japan/Japan model of Steve Vai's favorite JEM series, Ibanez's Steve Vai Signature JEM 7V, made in 1993 (Fujigen).

The JEM 7V has been in Vai's hands since its release in 1993, featuring a basswood body with striking monkey grip and lion's crow (arm-up cavity), maple neck with scarf-jointed head, ebony fingerboard with Tree of Life inlays, DiMargaritas PU, and DiMargaritas fretboard. DiMarzio Evolution neck/DiMarzio Evolution Single mid/DiMarzio Evolution Single mid PUs, back-tightened mounting screw-type locknut, and Lo-Pro Edge tremolo.

This guitar boasts impressive looks with the instantly recognizable tree of life inlays, signature tone, and high playability.

It shows signs of use (scratches and paint chips around the body, color burn, minor scratches and dents around the perimeter, scuffs and scratches from playing, cracks repaired around the lock nut behind the neck, paint cracks at the joint, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts and screws are cloudy, bits and rust, etc.). The case shows considerable signs of use.

The guitar has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, and neck back crack correction/touch-up) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right.
