RIDDIM collaboration model of "koike drums" shell, whose workshop is located in Nakatsugawa, Gifu Prefecture. This is a truly handmade snare made in Japan, hand-assembled from local chestnut wood in block form and molded by hand.

There are very few cases where chestnut wood is used for the shell, and the stave shell model is also very rare.
The sound is characterized by a delicate and quick response, softer than hard materials such as maple, and combined with the internally wound hoop, it has a comfortable feel as if the stick bites into it.
The sound is full-range with a fat and well-balanced sound. It has plenty of power.

There are some minor scratches on the shell, but there is no particular damage, and it sounds very good and is still in good condition.

岐阜県中津川に工房を構える「koike drums」シェルのRIDDIMコラボレートモデル。 地元産の「栗の木」をブロック状に組上げ、手作業により成型されている正にハンドメイドの国産スネア。

栗の木をシェルにしているケースは非常に少ないうえ、ステイブシェルのモデルも非常に珍しい存在です。
サウンドはとにかく繊細で素早いレスポンスが特徴で、メイプルなどの硬質な素材よりも柔らかさがあり、内巻きフープも相まって、スティックが食い込むような心地よさが特徴です。
サウンドも太さのあるバランスの良いサウンドでフルレンジ。パワーも十分です。

シェルの細かい傷は散見されますが、特にダメージもなく非常に良く鳴り、まだまだ安心してお使いいただけるコンディションです。
