1991 Ash Body/Blonde Finish 62 Stratocaster made in the early days of the Custom Shop, which was established in 1987, during the tenure of JOHN PAGE.

1991 1962 Stratocaster with old Custom Shop logo on the back of the head, ash body, maple neck (3-6-91), slab-applied rose fingerboard, original PU (R1379016/R1379025), Vol/2Tone/5-way selector, synchro tremolo and Coulomb. Way selector specification, synchronized tremolo and Cruson pegs.

This guitar has a lot of charm that is different from recent real reissues. It is slightly heavier at 3.85 kg, but has a tight and bouncy sound.

The nut has been replaced, and the decal on the head top has been protected with clear paint after being grazed. It shows signs of use (color fading, paint damage near the elbow area, scuffs and playing marks, picking marks, fogging/bitzing of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the truss rod can be adjusted to +/- 60 degrees.

ヘッド裏に旧タイプのカスタムショップ・ロゴが用いられた1991年製の1962 Stratocaster。アッシュ・ボディ、メイプル・ネック(3-6-91)、スラブ貼りのローズ指板、PUはオリジナル(R1379016/R1379025)でVol/2Tone/5Wayセレクター仕様、シンクロトレモロ＆クルーソンペグを採用しています。

近年のリアルリイシューとは一味違った魅力が満載の一本、3.85kgと若干重めながらタイトでハリのあるサウンドが特徴です。

ナット交換、ヘッドトップのデカールをかすれた後にクリア塗装で保護しています。使用感(色ヤケ、エルボー部付近に塗装ダメージ、スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
