This is a rather rare Radic "Combo" model.
It appears to be a so-called Student model that was produced from 1978-80.

What is unusual is the shell material, a "plastic" shell.
* Acrylic is also plastic in the broad sense of the word, but, even today, there are no products that claim to have a plastic shell, so we can say that this is a product with a rather rare character.

The essential sound has a character that is a little softer than acrylic, and it sounds unexpectedly well, quite woody.
The shell does not seem to be very rigid, and the sound is sweet rather than tight.
The range is not very wide.
However, the sound is practical enough, and it is characterized by the open sound typical of RADIC.

There are some signs of age and use, such as the pits on the parts and the carved alphabet on the hoop, but there are no defects at present, and the condition can be said to be commensurate with its age.

This is a rare piece for RADIC collectors.

かなり珍しい、ラディック「コンボ」モデル。
1978‐80年に生産されていたいわゆるスチューデントモデルのようです。

珍しいのはシェル素材で「プラスチック」シェル。
* アクリルも広義のプラスチックですが、、、今でもでもプラスチックシェルを謳った製品はなく、かなりレアなキャラクターを持った商品と言えるでしょう。

肝心のサウンドはアクリルを少し柔らかくしたようなキャラで、思いのほかよく鳴ります、結構ウッディな感じです。
シェルの剛性はそれほど高くはないと思われ、タイトというよりは甘いサウンド。
レンジはそれほど広くはない印象です。
しかしながら十分実用性のあるサウンドで、ラディックらしいオープンな響きが特徴的です。

パーツのピッツ、フープのアルファベットの彫り込み等、経年使用感はございますが、現状不具合ある箇所もなく、年式相応のコンディションと言えます。

ラディックコレクターにはたまらないレアな1台です。
