USED Fender Japan / ST57-LS ORDER Black Fender Japan [3.76kg/1991]

57 Strat with Gold Lace Sensors. This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster ST57-LS Order, made in 1991.

OVALTIPE neck and seagull string guide are used instead of ST54-LS's "Soft V-shape neck and button type string guide". Alder body, maple 1P neck (ORDER stamped on the neck joint/Neck Date: 4-17-91), 3-ply 8-point pickguard, Lace Sensor Gol PU with 1Vol/Tone & mid boost (not working).

This is an attractive piece with the gold Lace Sensor pickups familiar from the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster.

Mid boost does not work. It shows signs of use (color fading, minor scratches and hairline scuffs, scuffs and playing scratches, fingerboard surface paint peeling, picking marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, the originally low fretboard is high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60 degrees (slightly tight).
