This is the first signature model of one of Yamaha's legendary drummers, Steve Gadd.
This 13" birch model was one of the initial lineup of 6 models released in 1998, and was in production until around 2003.
This model has a 6ply birch shell manufactured in Japan with a deep snare bed, 10 snappers, and other custom specifications typical of Gadd models, and has a quick and crackly 13" response and the woody, sticky squeak of a Yamaha birch.
It has both a quick and crackly 13" response and the woody, sticky sound of Yamaha birch, and combined with the original black finish, it is a snare drum with a one-of-a-kind presence.

There are a few minor scratches, but the black hoops are generally clean, although there is some peeling.
The lugs are late model, so there are no durability problems, and there are no other problems either.
This is a rare one anyway!

ヤマハのレジェンドドラマーの一人、スティーヴ・ガッド氏の初代のシグネチャーモデルです。
1998年に発売された当初6モデルのラインナップの1つで、2003年あたりまで生産されていた13インチのバーチモデルです。
日本国内の製造の6plyバーチシェルに、深めのスネアベッド、10本スナッピーなど、ガッドモデルらしいカスタム仕様を施したモデルで、クイックでクラッキーな13インチらしいレスポンスと、ヤマハバーチならではの
ウッディで粘りのある鳴りを両立しており、ブラックのオリジナルのフィニッシュも相まって、唯一無二の存在感を放つスネアドラムと言えるでしょう。

細かいキズは散見されますが、ブラックのフープも多少の剥がれはあるものの概ねきれい。
ラグも後期型で耐久性問題無し、他も特に問題箇所なく、安心してお使いいただけるコンディション。
とにかくレアな1台です！
