Hummingbird with non-pickup specification.

Gibson's first square-shouldered Hummingbird was created in 1960. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck, rose fingerboard with double parallelogram inlays, upper belly bridge, Grover pegs, and large pickguard with a striking hummingbird.

Both playability and sound are perfect. It has been over-lacquered, but it is in reasonable, well-sounding player's condition.

The neck, sides and back appear to have been over-lacquered from the back of the head to remove scratches at the base of the head and stand burn on the back of the neck. It shows signs of use (color fading, overall deflection and decorative peeling of the pickguard, scuffs and play marks, hairline scratches, picking marks, guitar hanger marks, scratches/paint cracks on the back of the head, truss rod cover cracks, cloudy/pitted metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, saddle adjustment, nut groove correction) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees on both sides of the rod.

1960年に誕生したGibson初のスクエアショルダーのハミングバード。シトカスプルース・ソリッドトップ、サイド＆バックはマホガニーソリッド、マホガニーネック、ダブル・パラレログラム・インレイの施されたローズ指板、アッパーベリーブリッジ、グローバーペグ、印象的なハチドリが描かれた大型ピックガードが特徴です。

演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。オーバーラッカー済ですが、相応に良く鳴ってくれるプレイヤーズ・コンディションの一本です。

ヘッド付け根のキズとネック裏のスタンド焼けを消すためのヘッド裏からネック及びサイド＆バックがオーバーラッカーされているようです。使用感(色ヤケ、ピックガードの全体的なたわみ・装飾剥がれ、スレや弾きスジ、ヘアライン傷、ピッキング痕、ギターハンガー痕、ヘッド裏キズ/塗装クラック、トラスロッドカバー亀裂、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ピッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・サドル調整・ナット溝修正)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドはロッド左右60度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。
