The Ludwig 404, a classic Ludwig model that is considered a masterpiece of aluminum snare, is estimated to be a 1967 model based on the serial number and the date stamp inside the shell.

The 404 boasts a history of nearly 50 years, and is known for its dry sustain produced by the seamless aluminum shell, as well as its mild, midrange-focused tone and distinctive presence.
The mild, midrange-focused tone produces a unique presence.
The hoops are thinner and the tone is slightly milder than the current generation, but still popular and easy to use.

In addition to the missing inner mute, the shell is dented and the snare bed on the back side appears to have been welded, presumably repair marks.

There are many scratches and stains, and the sense of use is noticeable, but the sound is still strong and can still be used!

50年近い歴史を誇り、シームレスアルミシェルの生み出すドライなサステインと
マイルドでミッドレンジにフォーカスされたトーンが独特の存在感を生み出しています。
フープも薄めで、トーンも現行より若干マイルドながらも使いやすい人気の世代です。

インナーミュート欠品のほか、シェルの凹み、裏面のスネアベッドが溶接加工されているようで、おそらくリペア痕と推測されます。

傷や汚れも多く使用感は目立ちますが、サウンドは健在でまだまだお使い頂けます！
