Music Man 1977 vintage "StingRay II"!

In the 70's, Leo Fender's contract with CBS expired and he started a new brand "Music Man". This guitar version of StingRay II was sold at the same time as StingRay, which is synonymous with active bass.

Currently, active circuit has been removed and wired to 3-way selector spec instead of POT replacement, Vol/Hi-Cut/Low-Cut/Low-CutSW/Lever SW. The pickguard & screws have been replaced, and the refret/nut has been replaced.

It shows signs of use (color fading, minor scratches and weather cracks on the head tip and outer body, slips and play marks, picking marks, buckle marks, vol galling, fogging/pitting of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough for playing.

70年代 CBSとの契約満了を迎えたレオ・フェンダー氏が、新しく立ち上げたブランド"Music Man”。アクティブ・ベースの代名詞とも言えるStingRayと同時期に販売されていたギター版スティングレイII。アッシュボディー、メイプルネック、メイプル(7.25R)指板にハムバッカー･ピックアップを2基搭載。

現状はアクティブ回路が外され、POT交換・Vol/Hi-Cut/Low-Cut/Low-CutSW/レバーSWではなく3Wayセレクター仕様に配線されています。ピックガード＆ネジ交換、リフレット/ナット交換が施されています。

使用感(色ヤケ、ヘッド先やボディ外周に小キズやウェザークラック、スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、Volガリ、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ピッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすりあわせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドはゆるみ切りにて現状ネックに問題なしの状態です。
