This is a Gibson EB-3 (SG BASS) made circa 1974-1975.

SG shape mahogany body, 3 piece maple neck with volute, short scale rose fingerboard, humbucker & mini humbucker PU, 1 front/2 rear/3 front & rear/4 front (low cut) baritone SW, so called 1972 or later model with front PU in the center. The front PU is placed in the center.

In addition to the fat sound, the clear tone by the SW position is quite excellent model.

The bridge cover is missing, the frets have been re-fretted, the fingerboard has been polished, and the original nut has been raised. There are some signs of use (chipping at the tip of the rod cover, sticker mark on the elbow, scratches and paint chips on the outer edge, rubber burn on the body end and the back of the neck, scratches and marks from playing, picking marks, fogging and bits on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages). There is a tear inside the attached case.

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival.

1974年～1975年頃製のギブソン・EB-3(SG BASS)です。

SGシェイプのマホガニー・ボディ、ボリュート付き3ピース・メイプル・ネック、ショートスケールのローズ指板、PUはハムバッカー＆ミニハムバッカー、1フロント/2リア/3フロント＆リア/4フロント(ローカット)のバリトンSW、所謂1972年以降のフロントPUが中央に配置されたモデルです。

野太いサウンドに加え、SWポジションにより明瞭なトーンもなかなか秀逸なモデルです。

ブリッジカバーは欠品、フレット打ち直し/指板研磨/オリジナルナットに嵩上げされています。4弦側ホーン部にストラップピン増設穴があります。使用感(ロッドカバー先端の欠け、エルボー部にステッカー痕、外周に当てキズや塗装チップ、ボディエンド及びネック裏にスタンドのゴム焼け、スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。付属ケース内部に破れがあります。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは左右60°度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。
