adjブリッジサドル搭載のエレアコ、J-160E！
J-160Eが誕生したのは1954年。当時はソリッドTop、19フレット仕様でしたが、1955年からは合板Top、20フレット仕様になります。
こちらは、1964年製J-160Eをベースにしたリイシューモデルです。
Made in USA、モンタナ工場製
合板スプルースTop、ソリッドマホガニーSide/Backのラウンドショルダーボディ。
TopにはXブレーシングではなくラダーブレーシングを施しています。
44mm強ナット幅、24.75"ギブソンスケールのマホガニーNeckにはローズウッド指板を貼っています。
ローズウッドブリッジにはアジャスタブルサドルを搭載。
P-90ピックアップを指板エンド付近にマウントし、TopのノブでVolume/Toneコントロール可能です。
* ナットは交換されています。
著名ギター工房にてメンテナンス済み。
ブリッジ剥がれ修正、ブリッジプレートにアース板貼り付け、バックブレーシング接着済みです。
フレットはもともと幅広で低めではありますが高さは現状問題ありません。
また、現状Neckは問題ありませんが、トラスロッドはロッドキャップからネジ部分が長く出ており、現状締め方向に効きがない状況です。* トラスロッド締め方向に限界
全体的にウェザーチェックが見受けられます。
ブリッジ1弦側付近に塗装剥がれタッチアップ跡があります。
全体的に塗装剥げを含む打痕、擦り傷、引っかき傷など多く見受けられます。
使用感や経年変化はございますが、現状プレイアビリティは問題ありません。
エレアコとして設計されて作られたJ-160Eの元来の良さが感じられる1本です。

The J-160E: an electro-acoustic guitar featuring an adjustable bridge saddle!
The J-160E was introduced in 1954. At that time, it featured a solid top and 19 frets, but starting in 1955, it was updated to a laminated top and 20 frets.
This is a reissue model based on the 1964 J-160E.
Made in the USA, at the Montana factory
It features a laminated spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back in a round-shoulder body.
The top features ladder bracing instead of X-bracing.
The mahogany neck, with a nut width of just over 44mm and a 24.75" Gibson scale, features a rosewood fingerboard.
The rosewood bridge is equipped with an adjustable saddle.
A P-90 pickup is mounted near the end of the fingerboard, and volume and tone are controlled via knobs on the top.
* The nut has been replaced.
Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop.
Bridge detachment has been repaired, a ground plate has been attached to the bridge plate, and the back bracing has been re-glued.
The frets are originally wide and set low, but their height is currently not an issue.
Additionally, while the neck is currently in good condition, the truss rod has a long section of the screw protruding from the rod cap, and it is currently ineffective when tightened. * Truss rod tightening has reached its limit
Weather checking is visible throughout.
There are touch-up marks where the finish has peeled near the 1st string side of the bridge.
Numerous dents, scuffs, and scratches, including areas of paint peeling, are visible throughout.
While there are signs of use and aging, playability is currently not an issue.
This is a guitar that truly showcases the inherent qualities of the J-160E, which was designed and built as an electro-acoustic.
Perfect for ensemble playing!
