A Jill "trans stamp" used in the 1940's and 50's.
* It is a type 4, presumably made in 1952-53.
It also has a U.S. stamp, so it is believed to have been produced for military use.
This is an A-Jill from a period that has become more popular in recent years due to its rarity and unique sound.

The hammering was done by hand during this period, and the hammer marks are clearly different compared to the current generation. This generation is characterized by complex and deep overtones due to hand hammering, while maintaining the bright sound typical of A-jiru.

It is the sound of a 12-inch, 438g thin cymbal, the so-called Splash.

This cymbal is based on the bright sound typical of A, but with dull overtones, short sustain, and a delicate splash sound that can literally be played.

It is in reasonable condition for a cymbal of this age, with no distortion or major damage, although there is some dullness, light rust, and some holes and edge wear commensurate with its age.

* タイプ4の、1952-53年製と推定されます。
また、U.S.の刻印もあるので軍用に生産されたと思われる個体です。
近年その希少性と独特のサウンドで人気がより高まっている時期のAジルです。

この時期は手作業によるハンマリングをしており、現行と比べるとハンマー痕が明らかに異なり、Aジルらしい明るいサウンドを基調としつつも、ハンドハンマリングによる複雑で深みのある倍音が特徴の世代です。

12インチの438gの薄目のシンバル、いわゆるスプラッシュのサウンドです。

Aらしい明るめなサウンドを基調にしつつ、くすんだ倍音でショートサステイン、文字通り弾けるような繊細なスプラッシュサウンドを味わえるシンバルです。

年式相応にくすみや薄いサビ、若干のホールやエッジの削れはございますが、歪みや大きなダメージはなく、この時代のシンバルとしては相応のコンディションです。
