Rare Yamaha Signature Model from the domestic era

This Yamaha signature model was used by Elvin Jones, a jazz legend who influenced all drummers, until his death.

It is a maple 7-ply shell from the domestic era, with the same shell specs as the Maple Custom but with a 7-inch depth and a wood hoop for a unique and distinctive spec. It is a popular model that produces a clear, solid, and grainy sound with a subtle response without depth.

This model was produced until around 2011, but not many of them are available, so it is a rare model.
There is a signature on the side of the shell which seems to be his own.
The serial number is 0072 and there is a "made in Japan" notation on the switch, so we think this is an early model (end of the 90s).

The head has some signs of use, but the overall condition is very good and the wood hoop is in good condition.

あらゆるドラマーに影響を与えたジャズレジェンド、エルビンジョーンズ氏が亡くなるまで愛用していたヤマハのシグネチャーモデルです。

国産時代のシェルで、メイプル7ply。メイプルカスタムと同じシェルスペックを持ちながらも7インチの深さを持ち、フープはウッドフープを装備した独自の個性的なスペックでありながら、深さを感じさせない繊細なレスポンスを持ち、しっかりと芯のある粒のクッキリしたサウンドを生み出す人気モデルです。

2011年頃まで生産されていましたが、それほど数多くは出回っていないので希少なモデルです。
シェル側面に本人のものと思しきサインがございます。
シリアルは0072でスイッチにMADE IN JAPAN表記もあるので初期(90年代末)のものと思われます。

ヘッドの使用感は少々ございますが、全体的には保管状態非常に良く、ウッドフープもあまり打痕がみられず中古としては十分すぎるコンディションです。
