1960s Wooden Dynasonic

Although there is no inner label and the exact year of manufacture could not be determined, this is a wooden Dynasonic snare drum believed to be from the 1960s.
Constructed with a 5-ply maple and poplar shell reinforced with a reinforcement ring, it features a more pronounced edge compared to other manufacturers of the same era, producing a sensitive sound with a quick attack.

The Dynasonic model accentuates these characteristics even further; its unique “snare frame-style” snare head produces a distinctive tightness, resulting in a sound that is open and woody yet dry and cohesive, giving it a funkier feel.

The parts show some signs of age, such as pitting, and there is some wear around the snare wires, but the shell itself is in perfect condition and the sound is excellent. This is a rare and valuable snare drum.
