主要パーツがUSA製だった頃のUSA製、USAカスタムシリーズのスネアです。
シェルはおそらくケラーに替わった後の個体と思われます。
グレッチの代名詞的存在のUSAカスタムシリーズの中でも
最もスタンダードなサイズの深さ5インチの8テンションの仕様です。
ファットで野太い鳴りを持ちつつも、適度なディケイで引き締まったサウンドです。
ジャズはもちろん、芯の太さもあるので、ポップスやロックでも十分お使い頂けるスネアです。
カラーはサテンエボニー、主要パーツはUSA製のようですが、スイッチバット部は現行の台湾製に交換されています。
細かいパーツのピッツ他、それなりに使い込まれた痕跡は感じられますが、シェルのダメージも無く鳴り自体は良好、まだまだ十分問題なくお使いいただけるコンディションです。

This snare is from the USA Custom series, made in the USA when the main parts were made in the USA.
The shell is probably a post-Keller replacement.
This is one of the most standard size snare of the USA Custom series, which is synonymous with Gretsch.
The most standard size is 5 inches deep with 8 tension.
It has a fat and fat sound, but with moderate decay.
This snare can be used not only for jazz, but also for pops and rock because of its thick core.
The color is satin ebony, and the main parts seem to be made in USA, but the switch butt part has been replaced with the current Taiwanese one.
The shell is not damaged and the sound is good, so it is still in good condition.
