USED YAMAHA / APX-9-12 BL Yamaha 12-String Acoustic Guitar Electric-Acoustic [08]

A 12-string electric-acoustic guitar featuring a stereo pickup system.

This is the Yamaha APX-9-12, sold from 1987 to 1994.Its uniquely designed small body features a spruce top, arched agathis sides and back, mahogany neck, Paris sandalwood fingerboard and bridge. The body top houses a contact pickup, while the under-saddle pickup can be switched via a side switch to select either 1/2/3 & 4/5/6 or 1/3/5 & 2/4/6.The push/push-in-place knobs (Vol/Treble/Bass/Mix) can output sound via the side TRS stereo output. The endpin jack allows blending output of the contact and under-saddle pickups in mono mode.

Visible signs of use include: - Clouding on the headstock top - Dents, scratches, scuffs, playing lines, and picking marks on the headstock tip and outer edges - Warping around the bridge - Tarnish, bits, and rust on metal parts and screws The battery box's Velcro may be weak and could detach during shipping. As this is a discontinued model, electrical system warranty covers only replaceable parts.

Setup completed upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, bridge crimping, rod cover hole dowel filling). Frets have sufficient height for playability. Truss rod tested to 60° left and right with no issues.

Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches present, but no issues for normal use.
