1980年にネッド・スタインバーガーにより創設されたSTEINBERGER、スピリットbyスタインバーガーのヘッドレスベース・XT-2・スタンダードです。
専用ダブボールエンド弦を用いたおなじみのヘッドレス・デザインはそのままに、バスウッド・ボディ、1960スリムDプロファイルの3Pハードメイプル・ネックのウッドマテリアル構成、PUはHB-1&HB-2、2Vol/Tone、ボディサイドにはお馴染みの座奏用レッグレストを搭載しています。
ロングスケールを採用しながらもサイズを感じさせないコンパクトさが魅力、34インチ・フルスケールから繰り出される芯のあるサウンドが特徴の一本です。
使用感(スレや弾きキズ、ヘアライン傷、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。
入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは左右60°度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。

The STEINBERGER Spirit by Steinberger XT-2 Standard is a headless bass founded by Ned Steinberger in 1980.
It retains the familiar headless design with dedicated double ball-end strings, while featuring a basswood body, a 3-piece hard maple neck with a 1960 Slim D profile, HB-1 & HB-2 pickups, 2 volume/tone controls, and the familiar leg rest on the side of the body for seated playing.
Despite its long scale, it has a compact feel that belies its size, and is characterized by its full-bodied sound produced by its 34-inch full scale.
Visible signs of use are present (scratches, play marks, hairline scratches, picking marks, tarnish/stains on metal parts and screws, etc.).
Setup completed upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment). Fret height is sufficient for playability. Truss rod tested to 60° on both sides and confirmed to be in good condition.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor imperfections present, but does not affect normal use.
