USED YAMAHA / SD-955R YD9000 Snare Drum Sunset Brown 14×5.5 Yamaha Snare Drum [08]

A snare drum from the YD9000 series, believed to be from around the 1980s.

Made with Hokkaido-grown birch wood, it remains a highly popular series representing YAMAHA.

Characterized by the distinctive mid-to-low range resonance and tight, deep character unique to birch, its versatile sound, suitable for any genre, captivated drummers worldwide at the time.
Its quick response from the full-surface snare wires is also noteworthy.

Finished in Sunset Brown, which beautifully showcases the wood grain, with paint applied inside the shell as well, highlighting the high level of craftsmanship befitting a flagship model of its era.

While there are some age-appropriate scratches and stains, there is no significant wear, and it is in good condition.
The snare wires are also original.
