USED EVH / Striped Series 78 Eruption Maple Fingerboard White with Black Stripes Relic [08]

A recreation of the legendary "Eruption" guitar, an iconic model.

The EVH Striped Series ‘78 Eruption guitar features not only the numerous famous customizations—from the finish to the neck, fingerboard, pickups, bridge, and hardware—but also modern features and relic processing that makes it look as though it has been well-worn on Van Halen’s stage.

The Stratocaster-style basswood body features Eddie’s famous white and black striped paint job, while the quarter-sawn maple neck has a hand-finished satin urethane back finish.

In addition to the relic finish applied to the fingerboard and body, the guitar shows some signs of use but is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to 60° in both directions and is in good working order.
