Featuring a 10-ply maple shell that is thicker than the Z series, this snare drum boasts edgy specs, combining the then-new #165 Diamond Burst finish with black hardware.
If produced with these specifications today, it would be classified as a Masterworks model, making it excellent value for money.

The 10-ply 12.5mm maple shell produces a very solid, edgy sound.
Paired with the black dotted heads from Asapla, it produces a sound with a well-defined punch.
Highly recommended for those seeking a powerful wooden snare.

While there are some minor scratches and discoloration consistent with its age, there is no significant damage, the sound is excellent, and it remains fully functional.
