This is the G&L Tribute Series JB-2, manufactured in 2016.

"G&L" was founded in 1972 by Leo Fender—the founder of Fender Guitars and the "father of the electric guitar"—after he left Fender, Inc., together with George Fullerton, a longtime ally from his days at Fender. The JB-2 model features a poplar body and maple neck, equipped with two G&L Alnico single-coil pickups and a sturdy G&L Saddle-Lock bridge, producing a sound with a rich, powerful low end.

Characterized by a crisp, clean tone, the JB-2 is a model that combines the appeal of the JB sound with a PB-style body shape.

There are signs of wear (minor scratches, scuffs, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, darkening along the fretboard edges, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and nut slot correction). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
