USED Gibson USA / Les Paul Studio Plus Desert Burst [3.89 kg / Manufactured in 2001]

This 2001 Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus features a plastic top with bold AA flame maple and a gold hardware finish that really stands out.

While retaining the core concept of the Les Paul, this model features simple aesthetics—such as the omission of neck binding and the use of a decal logo. It boasts a pickguard-less flame maple top, a mahogany back, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with 490R and 498T pickups.

This Studio model combines the classic Les Paul sound with a clean, uncluttered look—it’s a guitar known for its full-bodied tone.

The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins (no strap hardware on the strap side), and the tuning pegs and one volume pot have been replaced. Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches and scuffs around the headstock and along the outer edges, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, ring marks on the back of the neck, and discoloration, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, etc.).

Set up upon arrival (fret leveling, cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment); the frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60° in both directions and is in good working order.
