A 2018 Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster has arrived!

It features a two-piece select alder body paired with a tinted lift-thorn maple neck in a ’59-style “C” shape, along with medium vintage frets, Custom Shop hand-wound ’59 Strat single-coil pickups, a 5-way switch, and vintage wiring.It also features carefully selected specifications, including a 3-ply mint green pickguard, an American Vintage synchronized tremolo, and a bone nut.
The finish uses a flash-coat lacquer, which brings out the body’s natural resonance and delivers rich sustain and a warm tone.

The fingerboard features a vintage compound radius that gradually changes from 7.25 inches to 9.5 inches. The frets are medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than standard vintage frets, providing a comfortable playing experience while maintaining a vintage-like feel.

Signs of use (There are buckle marks, scuffs, chip marks, and—due to the nature of the lacquer finish—fine hairline cracks and scratches between the body back, neck plate, and back panel.)
Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string action adjustment); the frets have ample height. There is sufficient play in the truss rod for both tightening and loosening, and the instrument is in good working condition.
