USED LUDWIG / Early '60s No. 410 14x5 Supersensitive C.O.B. '60s Ludwig Snare Drum [08]

A highly rare early 1960s COB Model 410 "Super Sensitive."
It features a round mute and a chrome-over-brass shell, and appears to be from the very early 1960s.

The shell is COB, similar to the Super Radick, and the hoops are original 10-tension brass hoops from this era.

The fat, rich overtones characteristic of brass, combined with the fullness of the brass hoops
the delicacy provided by the Super Sensitive specification
make this a snare drum with a versatility that works for any genre.
It offers excellent dynamic response to subtle nuances, and the fat, powerful sound when played on the rim is impressive.
It has a very bright, clear sound that truly embodies the Radick spirit!

Overall, it shows moderate wear and tear; there are some dents in the shell, giving the impression that it has been well-used over the years.
While this is to be expected given its age, the fact that the major parts are still original is a significant plus.
Although the snare wire has been replaced with a Pure Sound model, this is a player’s condition drum that still faithfully reproduces the original sound of its era, maintaining a high degree of authenticity.
