USED Greco / SA800S [3.80 kg / Manufactured in 1979]

This Greco SA-800 semi-hollow body guitar features a Baritone SW, divided block position marks, and striking gold hardware.

It features a white sycamore top, a maple center block, a maple neck with a volute, an ebony fingerboard, intricate fret-edge binding, and the original 290703x2 pickups (listed as “PU-2” in the catalog specifications), along with a 6-position rotary switch.

With its dignified appearance and understated finish, this semi-hollow body guitar is a highly versatile instrument, offering a lustrous tone and a wide range of sound variations.

The Varitone switch plate is missing, and the knobs are non-original.Signs of wear are visible (color fading; multiple dents around the headstock, along the body’s outer edges, and on the body top binding; a paint crack extending from the nut on the 1st string side to around the 3rd fret; minor scratches and scuffs on the binding; picking marks; buckle marks; discoloration, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws; and other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The originally low fret tops have been leveled to a height that remains low but is still suitable for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in both directions and has been tested to operate up to ±60° (currently set slightly tight).

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
