This is an Ibanez Roadster Bass Series RB824, early model, manufactured in Japan (by Fujigen) in 1985.

It features a basswood body, a 3-piece maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with Super J6 passive pickups, balance/volume/tone controls, two Tri-Sound switches, and an Accu-Cast BII bridge (19mm pitch).

With two humbucker pickups and two Tri-Sound switches, this model boasts a diverse range of nine different sound variations.

The strap pins have been replaced with standard-type pins. There are signs of wear (discoloration, minor scratches and scuffs around the perimeter, paint cracks, scuff marks and playing lines, picking marks, buckle marks, dents on the back of the neck, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been verified to function properly within a range of ±60°.
