USED Gretsch / G6122T-62 Vintage Select Edition ’62 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman with Bigsby TV Jones [3.69 kg / Manufactured in 2025]

The Gretsch G6122T-62 Vintage Select Edition is a Country Gentleman—famous not only for being played by Chet Atkins but also by George Harrison—that reproduces the 1962 specifications.

Based on the 1962 model, this double-cutaway guitar features a maple body and neck, an ebony fingerboard, TV Jones Filter Tron Classic pickups, a master volume control, individual pickup volume controls, a 3-way pickup selector, a 3-way tone selector (top: Tone 5, middle: Tone 10, bottom: Tone 0), and a mute switch (ON-OFF-ON).lever-operated independent sponge mutes for strings 1–3 and 4–6, a back pad, Grover Imperial tuners, a locking bar bridge, and a Bigsby B6G tremolo.

With gold hardware and a dummy F-hole, it boasts a striking appearance. This guitar covers a wide range of tones, from the unique twang produced by the 3-Way Tone control to mellow Gretsch tones.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, tarnish on metal parts, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment); the frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60° in both directions and is in good working order.
