USED Fender Custom Shop / Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster with Maple Fingerboard in Mercedes Blue [3.72 kg / Made in 2023]

The Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Stratocaster in Mercedes Blue is a Stratocaster modeled after “Blackie”—the iconic guitar that Eric Clapton cherished as his main instrument until his retirement.

It features a select alder body, a soft V-shaped one-piece figured maple neck, a 648mm (25.5") scale length, a 9.5R fingerboard radius, and a 42mm nut. It is equipped with three Vintage Noiseless pickups, volume and tone controls, and a 25dB mid-boost.

Crafted by the Custom Shop using the same specifications as the guitar actually used by Clapton himself, this Clapton model excels not only in its authentic design but also in playability and sound.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, clouding of the finish around the walnut truss rod plug, picking marks, minor unevenness in the wood that appears to be present since manufacture, and the slight warping characteristic of an 8-screw pickguard, etc.), the guitar is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling); the frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no issues found.
