The “Strummercaster,” a replica of Joe Strummer’s (The Clash) beloved guitar

This is a Fender Artist Series Joe Strummer Telecaster, manufactured in 2007. The 3-tone sunburst finish features a gray undercoat and black topcoat, recreating the wear and tear from years of intense live performances. It features an alder body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele pickups.

This guitar beautifully recreates the iconic, stylish instrument of punk rock legend Joe Strummer with its Road Worn finish.

In addition to the distressing that mimics natural aging, the guitar is in good condition despite some dents and picking marks visible on the upper right side of the body top (near the 6th string).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, fret leveling, and wiring correction). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
