USED Gibson USA / Flying V 67 Cherry [3.30 kg / Made in 1997]

This is the Gibson Flying V '67 Reissue, a 1967-style model and a classic example of an unconventional guitar design.

Featuring a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, this 22-fret model is equipped with 496R and 500T pickups. The control layout consists of 2 volume knobs, 1 tone knob, and a 3-way selector switch. It also features a TOM bridge, a stop tailpiece, and Kluson-style tuning pegs, faithfully reproducing the traditional specifications.

With excellent balance for standing while playing and an aggressive look, this model continues to be favored by numerous artists in the hard rock and heavy metal scenes—it’s a guitar that really shines with a driven sound.

The tuning pegs have been replaced with brand-new Gibson parts. There are signs of wear (color fading, minor scratches and scuffs, scuff marks and playing marks, guitar stand marks on the back of the neck at the 9th fret and on the inside of the lower body, picking marks, buckle marks, wear on the pickup bobbins from picking, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string action adjustment, fret leveling, and repair of a loose ground wire). The fret tops are slightly lower due to leveling but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions, and its operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
