Modifications: Neck refinish, nut replacement, refretting, tuner and bridge replacement, and pot/capacitor replacement.

This is the Fender Japan TC72, a Telecaster Custom based on the ’72 Telecaster Custom. It features an ash body, a one-piece maple neck, TN-Humbucking and TL-Current pickups, and 2-volume/2-tone controls.

The Telecaster Custom, with its solid, tight tone, is a simple yet beloved model—highly recommended for guitarists and vocalists alike.

While the neck shows little signs of wear, the body exhibits some cosmetic wear (such as minor scratches, scuffs, play marks, picking marks, and tarnish on metal parts and screws).

It was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); its operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
