USED GUILD / B-240EF NAT The Westerly Collection Guild Fretless Acoustic Bass [08]

This is the Guild Westerner Collection B-240EF: a fretless, short-scale B-Jumbo bass.

Following in the footsteps of the legendary “B-50” from the mid-1970s, this jumbo-bodied fretless model features a solid Sitka spruce top, arched mahogany back, mahogany sides, a C-shaped mahogany neck, and a perforo fingerboard &bridge. It is equipped with a Guild/Fishman GT-1 pickup system and features volume and tone controls inside the soundhole.

With its understated matte finish, this instrument offers a warm and rich electro-acoustic bass sound.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up (cleaned and truss rod adjusted) upon arrival; the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening), with operation confirmed up to ±60°.
