USED Fender Japan / JB62-60 3TS (3-Tone Sunburst) [4.60 kg / Manufactured in 1986]

This is a 60s-style jazz bass that follows the classic '62 design: a Fender Japan JB62-60 (manufactured by Fujigen) from the E-serial era.

It features a basswood body, a maple neck, a slab-jointed rosewood fingerboard, and a JB Single (JAPAN) pickup, with a 34-inch long scale and 20 frets.

With a distinguished look that comes from age, this instrument offers the classic Jazz Bass sound that truly shines in an ensemble. It’s highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players alike and is also a valuable asset for home recording.

There are several repair marks and cracks where the two pickups were glued back together. The saddle is narrow, and the strings do not fit between the pole pieces, but this appears to be the original specification. Signs of use are visible (discoloration, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and tone pot replacement). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate up to ±60° and is in good working order.

Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but is suitable for normal use.
