USED YAMAHA / SBV500 BS [3.67 kg / Manufactured in 2005]

The SGV & SBV series features a retro look, reissuing the SG series—the “Blue Jeans Model” that was hugely popular among group sounds and surf bands.

The Yamaha SBV500 is a model that features a compact design combined with a long scale. It features an alder body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, two original single-coil pickups, and classic 2-knob (volume/tone) controls.

Characterized by its striking appearance and a versatile JJ-style sound, this model is highly sought after now that it’s no longer in production.

Although it shows slight signs of use (sun fading, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, etc.), it is in good condition. *Since the pickguard film was attached for a long time, adhesive residue may remain after removal.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod is at its limit in the tightening direction; the neck is currently in good condition.
