The Hāoʻul "CMN1455S/B" is a snare drum with a hybrid shell made of carbon material.

Carbon cloth is laminated on the inside and outside of the equal-thickness 6-ply maple shell (5.4mm).
The shallow-bodied (5.5" deep) "carbon ply maple" shell is made of equal-thickness 6-ply maple shell (5.4mm) laminated with carbon cloth on the inside and out, which gives it an edgy and thick sound.
The "carbon ply maple" shallow body (5.5" deep) has an edgy, thick sound, vivid sound profile, and a sharp sound.
The "Carbon Plye Maple" has an edgy, thick sound, vivid sound profile, and sharp sound, and it shows off its full potential from live performance to recording.
