The Jazzmaster from the "American Professional Series," the successor to the "American Standard Series," features a simple control layout consisting solely of a pickup selector and volume/tone controls.
It features a slightly rounded modern deep C-shaped neck with narrow-tall frets, a Mustang-style bridge saddle that keeps the strings from slipping more effectively than before, and a treble bleed circuit that prevents the sound from thinning out when the volume is turned down.

The frets have been leveled and deburred.
There are playing scratches on the pickguard, scuff marks on the body, and some tarnish and pitting on the metal parts.
There are other signs of wear and discoloration, but the overall condition is good.
