By incorporating new ideas into the classic BD-2 pedal, Keeley Electronics has created a fresh sound while preserving the BD-2’s signature tone.
By tweaking several sections, it is now possible to achieve a truly "Phat" (FAT) drive sound.
They increased the value of the coupling capacitor to enhance bass response, increased the value of the tone capacitor to boost low frequencies, and added a "Phat" switch to control the low end.
Additionally, the internal electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with tantalum capacitors, and all ceramic capacitors have been replaced with silver mica capacitors, enabling a smoother, low-noise sound.

Externally, there are scattered minor scratches and dirt from normal use, but there are no operational issues.

定番エフェクターであるBD-2にKeeley Electronicsが新たなアイデアを加える事により、BD-2の持つサウンドを守りながら新たなサウンドを生み出しました。
いくつかのセクションに手を加える事によって、まさにPhat(FAT)なドライブ・サウンドを得る事が可能になりました。
カップリング・コンデンサーの値を増やしベースのレスポンスを高め、トーン・コンデンサーの値を増やすことで、低域の周波数を増やし、低域をコントロールするPhat SWを追加しました。
また、内部の電解コンデンサーは、タンタラム・コンデンサーへと交換され、すべてのセラミック・コンデンサーは、シルバーマイカへ交換し、よりローノイズでスムーズなサウンドを可能にしています。

外観上、通常使用による小キズ、汚れが点在しておりますが、動作上問題ございません。
