It’s no exaggeration to say that the RAT is the gold standard of distortion pedals; its sound can be heard on many historic albums.
This is an early model from the highly popular 1980s “Black Face” era—a U.S.-made model with a straight-sided enclosure.
Based on the pot data, it has been confirmed to be manufactured in 1986, and it features a Motorola LM308N IC.
It is characterized by a distortion with a pleasant roughness and density unique to that era.

Externally, there are scattered minor scratches and dirt from normal use, but it functions perfectly.

Condition: B (Has scratches but is in good working order for normal use)

RAT はディストーションペダルのスタンダードと言っても過言ではなく、多くの歴史的名盤にもそのサウンドを聴くことができるエフェクターです。
こちらはその中でも人気の高い 1980年代製 “Black Face” 期の初期タイプで、USA製・ストレート筐体のモデルとなります。
POT データから 1986年製と確認されており、IC には Motorola製 LM308N を搭載。
この年代ならではの心地よい荒さと密度を持ったディストーションが特徴です。

外観上、通常使用による小キズ、汚れが点在しておりますが、動作上問題ございません。
